Public Engagement

While I currently live in the United Kingdom, I have spent the past decades as an immigrant in Aotearoa New Zealand. Acknowledging my place as an immigrant on indigenous land, I have relished the opportunity to learn from experts and stakeholders in tangata whenua communities and Te Tiriti o Waitangi advocacy. On that note, I have completed an (online) te reo language course at Te Wānanga o Raukawa, as well as the ‘ActionStation Tauiwi Tautoko’ learning programme about tackling harmful beliefs against Māori.
